User passwords can be reset directly without the need to email out password reset links or going through the lost/forgotten password process.
This can only be done by users with the role of Admin/SLT
Access the user’s profile page from the Users > All Users menu on the left hand menu.
Once you see the list of users, hover on the name of the user that you want to amend and click the ‘Edit‘ link that shows.
Scroll down to Account Management, then click ‘Generate Password’ A new password is shown. You can either note it down or over type it with the password of your choice.
Try to use strong passwords, with a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols. This helps to protect your site from automated cyber attacks.
Once you are happy with your chosen password scroll to the bottom and click ‘Update Profile’
